We offer three advanced treatments to promote hair regrowth following hair loss:

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma treatment). Platelet-rich plasma therapy uses your own blood platelets, which are rich in growth factors, to stimulate hair follicles and combat thinning hair. The platelets in PRP promote cellular regeneration and are essential to physiological functions like wound healing. During a PRP treatment, a small blood sample is drawn from your arm, processed to concentrate the platelets from other components like red blood cells, and then injected into areas of hair thinning on the scalp.

LED therapy. Low-level laser light therapy uses red and near-infrared wavelengths to invigorate the scalp and hair follicles. This process can improve blood circulation, reduce inflammation, and promote hair growth. LED low-level laser light therapy is a painless and convenient option.

Keravive scalp treatment. This comprehensive scalp treatment system combines a professional in-spa treatment with a take-home product regimen. Keravive cleanses the scalp and removes DHT (dihydrotestosterone—a hormone that can contribute to hair loss). At the same time, it delivers essential nutrients to nourish the hair follicles, improve hair thickness, increase hair density, and promote a healthy scalp environment.

Nutrafol: Nutrafol is a clinically tested, nutraceutical supplement designed to improve hair growth and strength from within. By addressing key factors like stress, hormonal imbalances, and nutrient deficiencies, Nutrafol works synergistically with our other hair restoration treatments to enhance results. Combining Nutrafol with our other advanced hair restoration procedures can optimize hair health and promote thicker, fuller hair. Its natural, holistic approach makes it an excellent add-on treatment, providing a comprehensive solution to hair loss and supporting overall wellness.

Effective and Versatile

What are our hair treatments like?

During your consultation at Trubella Medspa & Aesthetics, our specialists will assess your hair loss pattern, scalp health, and overall medical history. They will then discuss your goals and recommend the most suitable hair regrowth or combination treatment.

Our treatments for hair loss harness your body’s own healing powers. They are minimally invasive and very well tolerated. PRP injections may cause mild discomfort, but a topical anesthetic can be applied to minimize any sensation. LED low-level laser light therapy is completely painless. Keravive scalp treatments offer a relaxing in-spa experience accompanied by a simple at-home maintenance routine. Patients looking for a more natural method to promote hair growth will benefit significantly from these personalized, non-surgical treatments!

Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely. Combining PRP therapy, Keravive, LED low-level laser light therapy, or Nutrafol can provide optimal results in many cases. Your Trubella specialist will discuss the best options for you.

PRP treatments are considered a safe way to stimulate hair growth. This is because platelet-rich plasma injections use the patient's own blood, minimizing the risk of allergic reactions or infections. Potential side effects following a PRP hair treatment may include mild pain or discomfort at the injection site, swelling, redness, or bruising. Temporary hair shedding is possible, but this will resolve as the PRP stimulates the follicles’ growth phase. Your Trubella specialist will learn about your medical history to ensure that any treatment you have is a safe option for you.

A typical PRP hair loss treatment regimen consists of an initial series of three to four sessions spaced about four to six weeks apart. Your provider will tailor a PRP treatment plan to your specific needs. After the initial treatments, we recommend booster treatments one to two times a year to stimulate hair growth on an ongoing basis.

The results of PRP hair loss treatments are gradual. One reason is that hair follicles are in different stages of their growth cycles at any given time. It also takes time for dormant hair follicles to respond to the rejuvenating effects of platelet-rich plasma injections. It is normal to see some shedding in the first weeks. Don’t worry—this is a sign that the PRP injections are working and the less robust follicles are cycling out.

Most patients begin to see noticeable improvements in hair growth around three to four months after the initial PRP treatment series. The hair that grows during this time may be finer at first, gradually becoming thicker and stronger. By six months, the results become more pronounced, with increased hair density and hair thickness. Full results from PRP treatments are typically evident around the one-year mark. Patients who undergo maintenance sessions every three to six months often achieve the best outcomes, sustaining and enhancing their hair growth over time.

Many patients notice an immediate improvement in scalp hydration and a reduction in scalp flakiness and irritation after the first treatment. Visible improvements in hair density and hair thickness typically appear within 1-3 months after starting the treatment series.

We recommend three monthly in-office scalp treatments, followed by regular maintenance treatments as needed. Keravive can also be combined with PRP treatments and/or LED low-level laser light therapy for ongoing hair growth.

Most patients will notice improved hair growth and hair density within 2-4 months of starting treatments with LED low-level laser light therapy.

LED low-level laser light therapy for hair loss is considered safe and has minimal side effects. The most commonly reported side effect is mild scalp irritation or redness, which usually resolves quickly. Since the treatment uses low-level laser light, it does not involve the risks associated with more invasive procedures. Your Trubella hair restoration specialist will review the potential side effects of any treatment you are considering.
